I think it is very, very nice. And, I see a lot of logos, really. I think the cross is good because it clearly conveys the faith of the company to both Christianity and to learning.

Thanks for the input Casey. We will look into rotating the “C” a bit.

The issue with crispness likely results from converting the image into a file small enough to post on the site. It definitely lost some of the detail during the conversion.

The C looks out of place… maybe the rotation is what is messing with me…. The C and the “1″ just don’t seem crisp enough for me… but then again as an engineer I really have no artistic talent in these areas….

Thank you very much for the feedback. Our original intent was for the cross to be the trunk of the tree and the primary branches. I think the artist felt this may be too subtle for the small image of a logo, but we will definitely discuss it to determine if there are other options. I think it will be a balancing act between authenticity and visibility.

I think this is looking great!
my only comment…. to me the cross needs an adjustment…. not sure exactly what, but perhpas something more ‘organic’ or less ‘metalic’. Something about it doesn’t quite fit with the rest of the logo. Overall, great idea and coming along nicely!
