A recent article from Publishers Weekly highlighted a children’s book application ScrollMotion is developing for the iPhone.
The application is scheduled for release this year and will “fold in lots of partners and integrate text, audio and pictures in an organic and fun manner that is interactive for parents and kids, with buttons and interactions especially designed for small fingers.”
If this is executed well, it could be a significant improvement over the current text-only readers. I really like the idea of developing the application and its features with children in mind.
If any of you have an iPhone and try the application, please let us know what you think.
