So, what is this most critical resource? Prayer.
We probably should have started with this resource, because it has been a critical component in creating the children’s books, starting our publishing company, and generally getting through life. As humans, we tend to be overly confident in our abilities and quickly take credit for our accomplishments. However, our progress on this journey would not have been possible without prayer and any accomplishments would not have been meaningful.
Communication is essential in any relationship or project and prayer provides that communication with God. As with other forms of communication, it is also important to listen more than we speak. As we pray, we have also found listening important, because we often do not know the correct things to say or ask. If one listens carefully, God will provide the answers and direction needed and this guidance will ensure you stay on the intended path.
So, as you struggle with a children’s book project or, more likely, something else in your life…we strongly recommend prayer and listening.
